The 2 inch Metal Fitting Ram Pump

The 2 inch metal fitting ram pump requires a 2 inch drive pipe and a 1 inch delivery pipe. The minimum head drive is 1 meter, while the maximum should not exceed 4 meters.

This pump can deliver up to 8 times the height of the drive head. With a drive head (H) of 3 meters the pump can pump up to 24 meters height (DH), with about 4.5 liters per minute or 6,500 liters per day.

Thick PVC or PE pipes can be used, but we strongly recommend galvanized steel pipes, because this pump uses only small diameters pipes. The pump and installation cost is very affordable.

The pump has a maximum efficiency of 25%, which means that it will deliver up to 25% of the drive water. This pump is suitable to supply water for home use, irrigation and lifestock rearing.

2 inch metal Fitting Ram Pump (Do-it-yourself)

You can make this pump by yourself with standard fittings from your local hardware shop. However, some of the check valves available from your local market do not operate well with the ram pump.
